“Like many people, I have struggled with my weight most of my life. I have tried every diet, trend, and regimen possible and it was always the same result: I lose weight, and then I gain it back plus some over time. I decided that if I were going to make a permanent, long-lasting change to my weight and my lifestyle, I would have to do something completely different than anything I have ever tried before. I wanted to “rewire” my relationship to food and eating at a fundamental level, with the objective of “eating like a normal person”. It occurred to me that people use hypnosis to quit smoking all the time, with amazing results. Why couldn’t I do the same for my unhealthy relationship to food?
I found Dr. Syna through a google search and will admit, I was extremely skeptical. He answered all of my questions and was graciously unfazed by my skepticism. I was able to do several in-person sessions before COVID hit this year and have since used his recordings every single day to recenter and refocus myself. In addition to losing weight, his hypnosis recordings have become a part of my daily routine and have really helped me cope with the anxiety and frustrations of living through this pandemic. The best part? I don’t count calories or points or eliminate food groups or eat in certain combinations or at certain times a day. I literally eat whatever I want and nothing is off limits. The difference is, I only eat when I’m hungry, and I only eat just as I much as I need feel satisfied. I have now learned that I can be very satisfied with a fraction of what I was eating before, and I still get to enjoy eating. Today, on my 39th birthday, I have lost 60 pounds since my first session on January 31, 2020!
It’s been incredible to feel so liberated from the diet bandwagon and I cannot thank Dr. Syna enough for helping me transform my attitude toward food and eating. I would recommend trying hypnosis for weight loss to anyone, as I’m sure you will not only lost weight and feel better- you will feel more calm and relaxed as you go about your day, even in trying times like these.”
